Join the 5k walk to raise awareness for Angelman Syndrome. It is a rare neurological disorder that affects 1 in 15 000 live births. There are three Angelman families in the Peterborough area and they have grouped together to plan a walk. All donations go directly to the Canadian Angelman Syndrome Society. They help Angelman families receive adaptive equipment as well as therapies they need.
On top of the walk, there will be entertainment for kids, a silent auction as well as a free lunch for all registered participants.
