BOOK, MUSIC & LYRICS BY JACOB RICHMOND AND BROOKE MAXWELL In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster. When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a prize like no other — the chance to return to life. A funny, moving look at what makes a life well-lived!
The Bancroft Village Playhouse is a beautiful 184 seat theatre in the heart of Bancroft, which has been hosting sold out plays, musicals and concerts since the early 1990s. Formerly the Bancroft Community Hall, the historical building was once the local jail, courthouse and library. The building is owned by St. Paul’s United Church, and is currently under a ten year lease to Tweed & Company. We are thrilled to begin to fill the space with theatre, music, film and local arts-based community groups once again.
