The Rotary Club of Peterborough helped found Five Counties over 45 years ago when the need for a children’s treatment centre in the community was evident. Year after year, Rotary Peterborough continues to hold fundraisers to support Five Counties, helping to provide essential services to children and youth.
Five Counties Children’s Centre has been dedicated to supporting children and youth with physical, developmental and communications needs for more than 45 years. In partnership with families and communities the Centre strives to enrich their independence and quality of life. They treat ages ranging from infants through the late teens, and offer physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and more. Five Counties provides treatment at their locations in Peterborough, Lindsay Cobourg and Haliburton/Minden.
