Honouring Truth and Reconciliation Day at Trent University

To mark National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Trent University is hosting a number of in-person events to support learning and reflection, while encouraging members of the Trent community to take action on reconciliation. Additional self-directed learning resources are available online.

The university will acknowledge the intergenerational impact of residential schools, while honouring the process of reconciliation in Canada. On September 30, the university will educate and reflect on the experiences of former students of Residential Schools and commit to ongoing reconciliation. Events will be hosted in-person and via Zoom for those who can’t attend in person.
