The Peterborough County Junior Farmers will be holding a food drive on the evening of Monday, October 31 in the Heritage Park neighbourhood, near the Peterborough Zoo. The drive will accept food and cash donations.
All food donations will be brought to Kawartha Food Share and all monetary donations will be donated to the Keene Food Cupboard.
Members of the Peterborough Junior Farmers will be dressed in barnyard themed costumes for Halloween festivities.
The Junior Farmers Association of Ontario provides opportunities for young people age 15-29 of all backgrounds, but especially those in rural Ontario, to take on the challenge of exploring their individual talents and potential to develop personally while being involved in bettering their communities, networking, and having fun.
