Santa’s Sleigh

The Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation in conjunction with the Peterborough & Kawarthas Association of Realtors (PKAR), East Peterborough Lions Club, and media partners 101.5 The Wolf, Global Peterborough and 100.5 Fresh Radio are excited to announce the launch of the 2022 Santa’s Sleigh Program on Thursday, November 24th at 3:00 PM.
The Sleigh opened at the Walmart on Chemong Road, until Monday December 5th at 1:00pm.

For the past 33 years, the Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Foundation Santa’s Sleigh Program has helped make Christmas brighter for local children and youth who are involved with the Kawartha Haliburton Children’s Aid Society.

“We are inviting the community to choose a child’s gift suggestion from our tree at Walmart, and then shop for that gift in order to fulfill the child’s holiday wish” says Carrie Truman, Executive Director of the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Foundation. “The gifts will go directly to children in our community, so that together we can put smiles on the faces of local children this holiday season.”

We are accepting donations of physical gifts, gift cards, and monetary donations. Monetary donations will be used to purchase gifts and gift cards for children and youth who are involved with the Kawartha-Haliburton Children’s Aid Society. The most important message we can give local at-risk children and their families is one of hope. Thank you to the generous donors in our community for making it possible year-after-year, for local children to open a special holiday gift.
