Peterborough Area Roller Derby is excited to host their first in-town full contact roller derby double header “Silence of the Jams”, June 16 at the Evinrude Centre on Monaghan Road.
Doors open at 4pm, with the first whistle going at 5pm for a bout featuring Toronto Roller Derby’s Vipers versus Durham’s DRRD’y Farmers. At 7pm, PARD’s Riverside Riot Squad faces up against
Kingston’s Skateful Dead. Both games should be close matches, with
solid full contact flat track derby action.
Tickets are $10 in advance from a skater, or from Things from Mom’s Basement on Charlotte St. in Peterborough; or $12 at the door. Kids under 10 are free and this is a family friendly event. There will be a bake sale in support of Peterborough Area Roller Derby – please bring cash!
