Annual Red Pashmina Walk

Event Details: Everyone – men, women, children – are invited to enjoy some belly dancing fun, prizes, refreshments, an inspiring talk and information about Afghanistan, and a fundraising walk, all on the same afternoon!
The Peterborough chapter of Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan (CW4WAfghan) presents the 9th annual Red Pashmina Walk, Saturday, April 27 at Emmanuel East United Church with registration at 1:30 p.m., followed by a presentation by Dr. Lauryn Oates, executive director, of the national CW4WAfghan.
The walk begins at 3 p.m. and raises money for the education of women and girls in Afghanistan. Bring your pledge sheets and money, and don’t forget to wear your red pashminas!
