Event Details: Looking for a fresh take on Mother’s Day gift shopping? Join us … this thoughtfully curated artisan market features the work of 20 high calibre artisans, and includes fine jewellery, pottery, glasswork, visual arts, fibre arts, and natural & herbal products.
This event was created as a way of continuing the “shop local” spirit of Towns & Leahy Mercantile and Deli, located in Douro’s historic P.G Towns building recently lost in a fire. So, come out and meet the artists, find some one-of-a-kind gifts, and just enjoy yourself. Visitors will have a chance to win gift baskets containing work by the participating artists, and the first 50 people at the door will receive a complimentary gift.
$2.00 entrance fee (kids under 5 free)
Proceeds from the door will be donated to the Douro-Dummer Firefighters Association (who support the Township Fire Services), and who lost equipment during their heroic efforts to extinguish and contain the fire.
