CMHA Ride Don’t Hide – Peterborough

If you or someone you love struggles with their mental health, Ride Don’t Hide with 100.5 Fresh Radio and Leon’s Peterborough.  On Sunday June 23rd, the Canadian Mental Health Association, Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge (C.M.H.A. H.K.P.R.) will host its 4th Annual Ride Don’t Hide event, the largest mental health bike ride in Canada. Thousands of Canadians from across the country aren’t hiding. They are cycling in plain sight to put an end to the stigma of mental illness. They are also riding to raise funds for mental health programs and services in their communities.

This year’s event, hosted by C.M.H.A. H.K.P.R. in both Peterborough and Lindsay will support the creation of ‘Survivors of Suicide’ a new support group for local families or loved ones recovering from the loss of a loved one to suicide. The ‘Survivors of Suicide’ support group will aim to bring individuals together who experienced a similar loss or trauma as a result of suicide.

Ride Don’t Hide in support of C.M.H.A. H.K.P.R. Together we can put an end to the stigma of mental illness and help local ‘Survivors of Suicide’.
