Victoria Day Weekend Speedfest

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park’s 2018 major events kick off with Castrol presents the Victoria Day SpeedFest, featuring the NASCAR Pinty’s Series and the Pirelli World Challenge Series. Three Canadian series – the Canadian Touring Car Championship, the IMSA Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama and the Nissan Micra Cup Series – will round out the weekend of exciting on-track racing action. The weekend’s main attraction is the on-track competition, but there are plenty of other things for you to see and do as well. Be sure to visit the team paddock areas, located on the circuit infield at the north end near the start/finish straight. All the team transporters, cars, crews and drivers are based there, and access to the paddock is included with your event ticket purchase.

Bring your marker, autograph book, and camera because you’ll have excellent opportunities to meet and speak with the drivers.

You will have most success collecting autographs if you follow the proper etiquette: Go to the team’s transporter and ask one of the crew members what would be a good time to get the autograph. They’ll usually be happy to suggest when to come back if the driver isn’t currently available.

For a great selection of race souvenirs, merchandise, and other cool items, our CTMP Merchandise Trailer is the place to go, located near the paddock restaurant area.

A special weekend highlight is our traditional Victoria Day fireworks display, which will light up the sky on Saturday evening. The fireworks show, launched at dusk from Corner 1, is a spectacular celebration for your first long weekend of the summer.
