It's here now, Canada, but only for a limited time. Heinz has just released "Mayo-chup"!

It’s more than just ketchup.   It’s more than just mayonnaise.  Fellow Canadians, prepare to make room in your fridge for Mayo-chup.

This product has been in American stores for over a year now.

A Heinz press release states: “After seeing the excitement MayoChup generated with Canadians when it launched in the US, we knew we had to bring MayoChup to Canada.  MayoChup is the ultimate combo condiment for all occasions – dipping fries, making a sandwich or dressing a burger. MayoChup is here for a limited time, and we’re excited for Canadians to try it and make it a staple at BBQs, cottages, and dinner tables this summer.”

Loblaws, Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart, No Frills, Food Basics, Metro and Sobeys will be carrying this dip, at $4.49.

This combination seems vaguely familiar though.  Perhaps legal obstacles prevented Heinz from calling it “Fancy Sauce”; nevertheless, it’s the best of both worlds.
