The song “Three Little Birds” by Bob Marley is famous for its reassuring refrain, “Don’t worry ’bout a thing, ’cause every little thing is gonna be alright”.
It’s a message that Bob Marley said he received from the birds that frequented his porch stoop in Kingston, Jamaica. “That really happened,” he once told Sounds magazine. “That’s where I get my inspiration.”
With our worlds turned upside down these days with the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, those words of assurance sound sweeter than ever – – not coming from three little birds, but rather one little boy.
On Facebook, Kathleen Nicholson shared this video. She says that this sweet boy is the friend of a friend’s nephew. Listen. And believe the message.
