Pumpkin spice KD is coming to Canada. How do you feel about this?

“Would you eat it from a box?   Would you eat it with a fox?”

Getting someone to try this new food product may be a tougher sell than green eggs and ham.

Kraft Heinz Canada has announced that it will be adding the flavour of a pumpkin spice mix (cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ginger) to an iconic comfort food, to “please KD lovers and the cult following of pumpkin spice latte aficionados.”

Pumpkin Spice Kraft Dinner (or PSKD, if you will) is going to be released sometime next month.

In a press release, Kraft Heinz reveals that it’s only going to be a limited batch – – only 1,000 people will be able to get the new product.  Want to be one of those people?  You need to sign an online waitlist.

According to the press release, anyone fortunate enough to get a sample will receive a box of Kraft Dinner, a Pumpkin Spice Boost Pack, a fork, and a “signature white coffee style cup with your name written on it (spelled wrong of course).”  They add, “KD has always been known for its one of a kind cheesy taste and after years of watching Canadians get excited for pumpkin spice season, we felt that it was time to combine the two iconic flavours and create Pumpkin Spice KD.”

Personally, I LOVE pumpkin.  I’ve been known to enjoy the odd pumpkin spice latte or muffin.  Even squash (pumpkin) ravioli.

But pumpkin spice KD?   No thanks.  “I will not like it, Sam-I-Am!!”
